International Journal of Radiation OncologyBiologyPhysics
International Journal of Radiation OncologyBiologyPhysics, known in the field as the Red Journal, offers authoritative articles linking new research and technologies to clinical applications. Original contributions by leading scientists and researchers include experimental studies of combined modality treatment and relevant innovations in tumor sensitization, especially at the molecular level, normal tissue protection, including both precision avoidance and biochemical means, brachytherapy, particle irradiation, and tumor imaging. Technical advances related to dosimetry and conformal radiation treatment planning are also included.
Radiotherapy
& Oncology publishes papers describing original research
as well as review articles. It covers areas of interest relating
to radiation oncology, including clinical radiotherapy, combined
modality treatment, experimental work in radiobiology, chemobiology,
hyperthermia and tumor biology, as well as physical aspects relevant
to oncology, particularly in the field of imaging, dosimetry and
radiation therapy planning. Papers on more general aspects of interest
to the radiation oncologist including chemotherapy, surgery and
immunology are also published. Papers are accepted on a worldwide
basis.
Each issue
of Seminars in Radiation Oncology addresses a specific topic
in the specialty, presenting definitive information on areas of rapid
change and development. A significant number of articles report new
scientific information. Topics covered include tumor biology, diagnosis,
medical and surgical management of the patient, and new technologies.

Medical
Dosimetry
Medical
Dosimetry is the key source of information on new
developments for the medical dosimetrist. Practical and comprehensive
in coverage, the journal features original contributions and review
articles by medical dosimetrists, oncologists, physicists, and
radiation therapy technologists on clinical applications and techniques
of external beam, interstitial, intracavitary and intraluminal
irradiation in cancer management. Articles dealing primarily with
physics will be reviewed by a specially appointed team of experts
in the field.
